Taskless is a free web application. Write little sticky notes and place them on your personal taskless site.
Taskless is still beta and currently in development - so things can change. Taskless works best in a modern browser, like FireFox, Safari or WebKit
Keep track of recent changes.
Your can sign in with your Google Account or you can register a taskless account.
After you logged in, click on
to create
a new note. You can edit the note, move it around, close it and delete it.
Create new spaces and share them with your friends. There are 3 kinds of spaces:
You will be notified by email if another taskless user requests access to one of your spaces.
Put tags on your notes. Just enter tags: new york, shopping and the tags "new york" and "shopping" are
put on your note. Click to see:
.
Click on a tag to assign a color. The first tag of note sets the notes color.
Type date: 10. Jan 2009 and your note will show the date at the end of the note. Your can also
write down a date range like date: 10. Jan 2009 - 4. Feb 2009.
Taskless understands many date formats. Just try things like
date: tomorrow 16:15, date: eastern, date: independence day 2012,
date: 10. Jan 14:00.
You can insert a note to your Google Calendar (if you signed in with your Google Account). After you gave permission to access your Google Calendar, taskless will create a new secondary calendar called 'taskless'. Just click on the 'add to google' icon at the end of note and the note will be added to the calendar. You can navigate to your Google Calendar by clicking on the calendar icon.
Start a line with "o " or "x " and create a checklist. "o " will be converted to an unchecked checkbox, while
"x " becomes a checked one:
Taskless recognizes links and puts a small link icon in front of them. If something you type starts with
www, http:// or file:// it becomes a link. Put a vertical
line | at the end of a link and the URL gets hidden:
.
Taskless can insert links to Google Maps. Just
type @ at the beginning of a line. Everything up to the
next blank line (or the end of the note) gets recognized as an address:
.
Drop a URL or a text somewhere on your taskless site and taskless will create a new note automatically. (Works with Safari, WebKit, FireFox 3.1)
Taskless is still beta. Here are some things which are planned and will be implemented soon:
